Play65.com Appoints New Advisory Board to Investigate Gaming Bots

On May 18th, 2009, in an effort to help crackdown bots from its online backgammmon gaming system, Play65.com has formed an advisory committee to help investigate this suspicious practice, the group announched today. The company stated in the news release that the advisory board includes well-respected and impartial backgammon players all over the world that are not employees of Play65.com.

Unfortunately, as online gambling casino sites increase in popularity, they will attract more gaming bots, which are automated gaming applications programmed to win at different online casino games with the help of unfavorable methods. Prevention of gaming bots is becoming more important in online gaming in order to protect players and the gaming organizations themselves.

Play65.com's advisory board will investigate any online account that is suspected of using a bot, and then provide a decision on whether the online account should be closed or not. Play65.com's advisory board consists of Robert Wachtel, the author of "In the Game until the End: Winning in Ace-Point End-Games", Masayuki Mochizukia, a member of the Japanese Backgammon League and world famous backgammon commentator and teacher Michael "Falafel" Natanzon.
