The European Backgammon Tour Portuguese Open

It was announced on March 6th, 2009 that TrueMoneyGames will be the official sponsor of the Portuguese Backgammon Open running from May 12th, 2009 until May 27th, 2009 in the prestigious Estoril casino facility. The Season Three of the European Backgammon Tour (EBGT) will have different stops and so far the confirmed tour stops are Portugal, Georgia, Italy and France.

Season III European Backgammon Tour-EBGT Tournament Director Chiva Tafazzoli said that during their previous backgammon tour stop in Estoril they have enjoyed good weather, so it will be an additional bonus for their tour participants. In 2007, the overall champion of the European Backgammon Tour was recognized as the "European Champion" in Estoril, Portugal and takes home a total of 10,000 euros and the one-of-a kind Golden Cube (a custom made jewel that is made of fourteen carat gold and 112 diamonds).

As the main sponsor of the TMG European Backgammon Tour Portuguese Open, it has the right to offer exclusive online qualifiers for the event. TrueMoneyGames's Marketing Manager said that their gaming brand is continuously growing and improving and they are committed in giving their players the best backgammon experience not only with their gaming software but trying to combine the benefits of online and offline with a prestigious event like the EBGT.
